We have good news for you. The Japanese Paper Place will be hosting pop-up shops at two great events in April.

On Thursday 27 April, you will find our fine paper specialist Sigrid Blohm at SAQA, the Studio Art Quilt Associates conference vendor’s fair. The conference theme is “Pathways to Possibilities” and Sigrid will be showcasing washi with a lean to the world of textile. She will have an assortment of washi, as well as konnyaku — the secret ingredient for altering washi to make it more cloth-like — available for retail purchase. Have questions? Saturday 29 April will see The Japanese Paper Place in Grimsby at the annual Wayzgoose printers and book-arts celebration. Lots of variety in coloured and printed washi sheets, as well as packages and an assortment of tools useful in the book arts will be available.
